20 Years since the Dedication of the Collateral Damage Sculpture by E.A. Chase: See the original and recent video; in memory of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

1995 dedication and history of the Collateral Damage Statue. Mathilde Rand filmed the installation and dedication of the Collateral Damage sculpture in Santa Cruz, CA, 1995. A historical view of the reasons for the Collateral Damage statue, the placement of the statue and dedication/ rally in Santa Cruz, California on the 50th anniversary of the US dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The concert featured Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, David Crosby and many more musicians.

The Peace Community of Santa Cruz commemorated the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with music and a candlelight vigil at the Collateral Damage Sculpture. Annie Newman’s video clip: Coming Together on August 2, 2015 at the Collateral Damage Statue and Town Clock.
