An interactive 6-day workshop designed to engage youth and young adults in the exploration of nonviolent community organizing in Santa Cruz County.

Each day will feature local organizations working around a variety of social justice issues. Monday: Community Organizing 101: An introduction to active nonviolence. Tuesday: Conflict Resolution & Nonviolent Communication. Wednesday: Sustainable Eating Systems and Food Justice. Thursday: The Prison-Industrial-Complex & the School to Prison Pipeline. Friday: Queer and Gender Rights. Saturday: U.S. Immigration Policy.
COST:
