Please join us for the GOOD FOOD FESTIVAL, a A family-friendly Vegetarian festival celebrating the health and environmental benefits of a plant-based diet. Enjoy great food!  See films that make the connection between eating sustainably and the powerful effect on climate change. Learn what you can do to change the world! Fun activities for kids all day. Reduce your climate footprint by eating lower on the food chain. Your food choices Can make a difference!

1:00 and 5:00p.m:  “Do the Math” (45min.) 2013 film highlights the rising movement to change the global climate crisis and challenge the fossil fuel industry.

2:30p.m.: “The True Cost of Food” Sierra Club animated 15-minute film encourages people to think about the environmental impacts of their consumption choices. And short clip: Diet for a Hot Planet (3 min.) Author/activist Anna Moore-Lappé speaks about her book “Diet for a Hot Planet: the climate crisis at the end of your fork and what you can do about it.”

3:00p.m.:  “Forks Over Knives” 96min.The results of one of the most comprehensive health investigations ever undertaken (the China Study) on the links between diet and disease.Shows the health benefits of a whole food, plant-based diet and highlights the work of pioneering researchers Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn.
