What is SCCCCOR

SCCCCOR is a grassroots organization founded in 2007 to address structural racism as the the root cause of racial inequity in Santa Cruz County.

Our Vision

We envision a world where everyone is valued and respected equally and where all people embrace our interdependence and flourish.

Our Mission

To train, equip and support community members and institutions to effectively work toward racial equity.

What We Do

  • We present trainings and workshops that provide an analysis of racism and inspire people to take a stand for racial equity
  • We cultivate a common definition, language and understanding of racism, including its history, how it functions, and how it perpetuates itself in the United States
  • We manifest social change through collaborative coalitions and partnerships that skillfully address structural racism.

SCCCCOR is a program of the Resource Center for Nonviolence.
