Sharpen your peacemaking skills for this moment of movement escalation; learn about creative tactics used around the world to confront oppression; discover new points of intervention and how to build stronger coalitions.
Led by Tarek Maassarani and Sarah Thompson, two scholar-activists who have resourced grassroots struggles nationally and on all of the peopled continents. Bringing their enthusiasm and expertise in service of collective liberation they work with various methods and modalities to bring fresh energy to individuals, movement leaders, and all who seek social change. They are in Santa Cruz for the Mobilizing for Nonviolent Global Liberation event led by Miki Kashtan of BayNVC at the Quaker Center in Ben Lomond.
