Workshop- learn causes and solutions of income and wealth inequality; build a mass movement. Co-sponsored by RCNV. More info.

This workshop will be your opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and the knowledge of your community about income- and wealth inequality. Note: New material on “Payday Lending: A Local Symptom of an Unjust Economy” has been added.

In this highly-interactive workshop, we will discover and learn:

The history of how the very rich and corporations won legislation over the years to their benefit and the detriment of society
A successful model of mobilization in U.S. history, spanning four hundred years advancing both human dignity and economics
The various ways that we can take action

Together we are stronger! From the regular ordinary person desiring change, to those affiliated with Indivisible, the Democratic Party, DSA, Our Revolution, to students of all ages, environmental groups, unions, racial justice groups, immigration reform groups, to Medicare for All/SB 562 supporters, voting rights groups, Overturn Citizens United groups, peace activists and on and on. United, we can change our shared course. Strength in numbers.
