Former Santa Cruz pastor Sharon Delgado will return to Santa Cruz to celebrate the release of her new book, Love in a Time of Climate Change: Honoring Creation, Establishing Justice. The book approaches climate change from a progressive Christian perspective that respects other faiths and philosophies and takes climate science seriously. Rev. Delgado served the United Methodist Church of Santa Cruz on California Street during the 1990s, then joined the RCNV staff , where she worked as an activist and community organizer for several years. 6:30 snacks/Music by Russ Brutsche, 7PM Book talk.
