We invite you to join us for our 42nd Annual Dinner, featuring Kimberly Ellis, speaking on- Waging Love in a Time of War: How to Promote Peace, Justice and Nonviolence in an Era of Perpetual Conflict

5- 6p.m.: Social Hour – Music, Silent Auction, beverages, hors-d’ouevres
6:00p.m. Dinner: Gourmet Vegetarian fare
7:00p.m. Program.
LOCATION: Peace United Church, 900 High St., Santa Cruz.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Please be as generous as possible.

Individual guest reservations: PLEASE RSVP before the Dinner. We need #’s and names in advance: $42 – $99 per person sliding scale reservations for the Dinner and Program. PROGRAM ONLY. – $10 – $25 sliding scale.   HOST opportunities:  Host Supporter (1) $100- $200 Reservation for One. Sliding scale.; Host Partners (2) $200 – $300 Reservation for 2. TABLES- (please confirm number and tell us the names of those you want seated at the table).  Host Organization $300 – $500 Reservation for 4 to 8  Table Host $400 – $1000 Reservation for 4 to 8. Host Sustainer $1000 or more Reservation for 4 to 8 .

If you cannot attend, SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS enable young people or families to join us:  $40- $400

About our speaker:  A captivating orator who educates, motivates and inspires people to action, Kimberly Ellis is a nationally recognized Progressive leader who has been credited with revolutionizing Democratic politics in California. Having appeared on syndicated television and radio programs, Kimberly is frequently interviewed and quoted by leading political media outlets, including the New York Times, Washington Post and Associated Press.

Kimberly is a frequent contributor to a number of online and print dailies, such as the San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times and Huffington Post, offering her thoughts on political and economic issues of the day. Kimberly brings a wide breadth of experience in traditional media and digital content creation.

Most recently, Kimberly was a candidate for Chair of the California Democratic Party, where she inspired thousands and lit the spark of an ongoing movement for the next generation of Progressive activists. Kimberly is the former Executive Director of Emerge California – the state’s most effective training program for Democratic women to run for and win elected office, and before this role, served as the National Affiliate Director of Emerge America.

Kimberly holds a juris doctorate from the John F. Kennedy School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts from Jacksonville University and is a Fellow with the Truman National Security Project. Kimberly serves on a number of boards and advisory councils, including Fund Her, K to College and the California Young Dems Black Caucus.
