Shlomit Manneberg and Muna Alsheikh talk about growing up in the Middle East amidst the agonies of war, learning fear and judgment of each other given the political and religious divide in the area.
They call for a conscious and humanitarian action to overcome hatred and enmity through open mindedness and heartfulness.
Shlomit Manneberg was born in Israel to a Jewish family. She is passionate about healing herself and others from the wounds of war and violence and seeking nonviolent communication between all cultures. Shlomit is active in groups advocating for peace, human kindness, and clear and honest communication.
Muna Alsheikh, M.Ed., is Muslim raised in Jordan to Palestinian parents and is married to an American of Christian-Jewish-Sufi background. She is a public speaker and facilitates workshops about cross-cultural connection and peace. See Website.
