Title:

A Candlelight Vigil: Gather, Remember, Re-Commit: in memory of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Fukushima, Chernobyl

Tuesday, August 6th, 2013, from 7-9PM

at the Town Clock/Collateral Damage Sculpture in downtown Santa Cruz
Bring signs, flags, banners, candles (we will have extras) or flowers to decorate the Collateral Damage sculpture.
On August 6th, 1945 and August 9th, 1945, the United States dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Join with the Peace Community of Santa Cruz for a Candlelight Vigil for a Nuclear Free Future. We know that the nuclear weapons and power industries are inextricably linked together –
we call for an end to both.

SC, Women\’s International League for Peace and Freedom SC, Santa Cruz Quaker Meeting.
