Project Regeneration is creating a safe space to break the silence
around rape culture and reconfigure the definition of rape – tell your
stories, show your art, do your dance!
We are asking for submissions from the community to consciously and
creatively examine a culture of violence and violation as it pertains
to not only our bodies, but to our lands, our experiences, and our
consciousness. We are encouraging people to share perspectives and
definitions of “rape” through unlimited artistic processes and
expressions. The purpose is to share narratives, break the silence, and
confront the stigmatization (and re-victimization) of survivors.
Every form of expression is welcome including poetry, collages,
story-telling, spoken word, song, sidewalk chalk art, film, skits,
recollection of a memory, rap, slide show, interpretive dance, live
painting, miming, jokes, news articles and media, statistics, and
interactive art.
