Sherry Conable – Presenté. Sadly, we have lost longtime Santa Cruz activist Sherry Conable, who died February 4 at age 72. Memorial Details TBA. We appreciate Sherry’s leadership in public action for peace, justice, and human rights for all with Code Pink, Veterans for Peace and SCRAM (SC Resistance Against Militarization). She volunteered with RCNV and many other groups. I’ve just changed the names from what Sherry wrote recently about VFP Harry Meserve’s passing: “Please light a candle for Sherry on her new journey, and take a few moments to remember all the good and loving times – profound, sad, funny, and poignant. peace soon, for all beings, everywhere.”
