The June 10th California Ocean & Climate Justice Summit will amplify stories and solutions from the BIPOC environmental justice leaders who participated in a spring mini-fellowship hosted by the Resource Center for Nonviolence and Save Our Shores. We hope you will join us at the table as we support these emerging leaders to inspire California to recognize how its diverse population, cultural influence, vast wealth, and startup mindset can be essential collective forces to regenerate our ocean and lands and launch a just, sustainable global future.
Our speakers will share their experiences to offer insights into how and why things are broken and how we might begin to envision and implement meaningful solutions. Their stories and dialogue will inspire us to explore how we can evolve beyond fundamentally flawed systems that rely on environmental racism and sacrifice zones.
Our vision is to have the California Ocean & Climate Justice Summit serve as a catalyst for an ongoing statewide community of practice aimed at nurturing the global transformation needed to cultivate a thriving future. This is a FREE virtual event.
