In memoriam: Juanita Nelson, Civil Rights Activist, former RCNV Elder-in-Residence

Juanita Nelson died recently at age 91. She and her husband Wally were civil rights activists and war tax resisters who advocated for local food. They were Resource Center for Nonviolence Elders-in-Residence in the early 1980’s. Ms. Nelson and her partner, Wally, were both war opponents. Shown above as they picnicked in 1946. By Kathleen …
